A few years ago, I created Studycise and had some success. Here are some of my achievements;

• Piloted the project at Brockmoor primary school.

• Received funding from School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE).

• Participated in SSE’s Lloyds Social Entrepreneurs programme.

• Recruited volunteers from the University of Birmingham.

• Promoted the project and gained the support of Dudley Council’s business connector.

Unfortunately, I could not sustain the project due to a lack of money. It was a bitter pill to swallow. My heart and soul had gone into the project, I had even sacrificed full-time employment. It was heartbreaking but I soon realised that it was worth it - by failing I learned how I could succeed, so here I am trying again.
